From the award-winning author of Princess Princess Ever After comes The Tea Dragon Society, a charming all-ages book that follows the story of Greta, a blacksmith apprentice, and the people she meets as she becomes entwined in the enchanting world of tea dragons.
After discovering a lost tea dragon in the marketplace, Greta learns about the dying art form of tea dragon care-taking from the kind tea shop owners, Hesekiel and Erik. As she befriends them and their shy ward, Minette, Greta sees how the craft enriches their lives–and eventually her own.

Tea dragons? Alright.

Caring for tea dragons? Aww!!

This sounds like it’s going to be meaningful (take care of something important culturally) and something sweet (PET/COMPANION DRAGONS!). I don’t know anything about this book other than the summary information, but from what I gather Greta, the main character, is going to be introduced to a dying art form that is important to her people and learn to participate in it, i.e. the caring for and tending to of Tea Dragons.

What are Tea Dragons? Do they have something to do with tea ceremonies? Tea plants? I don’t know! The art I’ve seen on the cover and on the author’s website is beautiful, so I’m sure the visual experience is going to be something special.
